Where to find your numbers

  1. Look at your glasses prescription (or ask your optician to email it).
  2. SPH is your main number, e.g. −2.50. CYL is for astigmatism; leave it at 0 if there isn't one.
  3. Use the eye with the bigger number. Ignore AXIS and ADD here.

FAQ

Common questions

Short answers; every number links to its source on the model and lab pages.

Can I put my own prescription lenses in Ray-Ban Meta glasses?

Yes. Meta sells Rx lenses (−12.00 to +6.00 total power for most Ray-Ban Meta frames) through Meta.com, Ray-Ban.com and certified retailers, and independent labs make lenses too. For Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 we list 6 labs; the lowest published starting price is Lensology at from $47.

My prescription is stronger than Meta allows, or I need prism. What can I do?

Meta’s own service has published limits and, per Tajima Direct, no prism. Tajima Direct and UseMyFrame say they fill stronger prescriptions and prism (send-in service). Use the checker to see options for your numbers.

Which smart glasses support the strongest prescriptions officially?

Rokid lists +15 to −15 and Solos up to −15.00/+10.00 (1.74 index). Even Realities G2 lists −12.00 to +12.00. Meta lists −12.00 to +6.00 total power for Ray-Ban Meta, −12.00 to +2.25 for Meta Glasses.

Does fitting third-party lenses affect the Ray-Ban Meta warranty?

Ray-Ban’s US FAQ says the manufacturer warranty only remains intact if prescription lenses are added at a certified retailer. Tajima Direct also notes Meta’s paid Warranty Plus excludes installation of non-authorized lenses. Weigh that against price before choosing an independent lab.
